When I try to log in to GixenDesktopMaganer I get a socket error or it looks like I logged in but my snipes do not show up. Can you tell me if there is a recent update. And if so where do I find it? Thanks. |

The latest version is always the one that you can download from the link provided for it.
Many people have had success by running the Gixen Desktop manager in XP compatibility mode. _________________ Mark |

It tends to be different depending which variant of Windows you have.
In most cases right clicking on the executable brings up a menu which allows you to select a compatibility mode, among other things. _________________ Mark |

The executable is the program that you run.
Most people double click on it to with the first mouse button to make the program run.
It has a .exe extension (the last part of the name after the dot) in Windows.
So you find that file but don't double click on it, try pushing the right button when your mouse is over it and hopefully a menu comes up that has an option to run it in compatibility mode.
If not if you let us know what variant of Windows you are running... it should tell you as you boot up the computer.. then someone may be able to give you more specific advice as to how to do it with that version of Windows.
If all else fails just use the web interface here, you can do all the things you can in the desktop manager anyway.. the Desktop Manager is only really an advantage if you want more up to date refresh of the auction prices. _________________ Mark |
