Hi, got a strange error on a snipe today. EBAY ERROR: LOGIN TIMEOUT (1)
My bad was under the eventual winning price, so I would have expected a bid under asking price error - not seen this one. Is it something I should be concerned about, I really don't want to lose because of an error. |

What it means is that the Gixen server never got a response from Ebay when it made the request to log into your Ebay account.
Was the snipe Mirrored?... If so did you get the same status on the Mirror tab as well?
Most likely it was a one time failure, which is the reason for having the Mirror server so that when this type of thing happens you have a second chance for it to work from elsewhere.
I have seen estimates, given by Mario, that as many as one in 300 snipes fail due to issues like this when using just a single server configuration.

| Ah, thanks Cupid, I had not seen that before. Yes I use the mirror service, but nothing recorded there. |
