COULD NOT BID: PHONE OR TEXT VERIFICATION REQUESTED BY EBAY

391209614803 was the last example. All bids have failed. I have a subscription. This is the same message over and over. When I come to the website I am told Gixen can't log me in......I had supposed that was only for the website locally. This means for Ebay that Gixen can't log on?

Guess I need some help or I'll stop Ebay. I won't Ebay without snipes.

ok ok -this was a Group bid. Will group bids always fail now since the Ebay site changes?

Was that my problem? The temp outage or whatever it was?

This message means that Gixen is not able to log your account on to Ebay via the Gixen servers when it comes to place a snipe for you.

It is not related to whether a snipe was Grouped or not, though Grouped snipes are more likely to fail until you sort out the issue, because Grouped snipes are only ever executed from the Gixen Main server, never the Mirror.

You will need to set up the Gixen proxy in order to sort this out with Ebay, who for some reason have imposed this sanction on your Ebay account... if you are not able to log in here either then my recommendation would be to let Mario know by emailing the support address given on the Contact tab above... he will no doubt send you instructions as to how to set up the proxy that way.

GOOD NEWS! Gixen is working but Groups do not work. They will all fail. It's a community so thought I would let you all know it IS working without Group Bid. Wish group bids. I had a buncha orange shirts everyone was selling at once and I couldn't decide... sell your orange shirts -ha

Please can you provide an example of an auction number for which a Group snipe does not work?

If it is only Group bids that are failing... that indicates, to me, that perhaps it is just the Main Gixen facility that is not able to bid for you while the Mirror is still able to do so.

If that is the case, in order to sort out the Main facility being able to bid you will still need to verify your account with Ebay while you have the Gixen proxy in place.

I had that problem, but it seems to be fixed. have you deleted your old ebay passwords and reset them? Also even if you can sign in to Gixen and place bids, if you are signing in using your stored password vaults from any application such as CHROME or Firefox, you will have to manually delete them and also any ebay password reset file that you find in your "saved password" folder found in manage passwords . clear all cookies and restart and then try to enter a test bid. one that will end soon and one that is cheap and where you can determine if GIXEN has placed any bids on your behalf.
