Can't log in on gixen, logs in fine on ebay

I know I'm not typing the passwords wrong because it is saved and autofilled by firefox, and I've also tried typing the password manually and still can't log in. I've tried logging out of ebay.com and then logging in using the same password and I got logged in just fine, no verification or anything like that.

The problem actually started a few weeks ago but it was intermittent so I was able to just refresh and tried logging in again and usually it works. But today I can't log in at all. Is this a known problem? Are you working on it? Thanks in advance.

My username I'm using here is my ebay username too. Anyway about 3 hours since I posted this thread I was able to log in. Do you still need my email? Now I don't have any problem logging in but I just put in a scheduled bid, hopefully it doesn't act up again when the time comes to place the bid.

Obviously if the problem can no longer be reproduced it would be difficult if not impossible to track down what was causing it...

So, maybe hold back on the email for now, however if the problem reoccurs please use the contact information, available on the 'Contact' tab above, to supply the information Mario requested via email, make a reference to this thread, and/or give some details of exactly how the problem shows itself.

Last night I joined Gixen, imported my eBay watch list and added two snipes. This morning Gixen says eBay won't recognize my user password. I can still log in to eBay, just not to Gixen.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem as other posts here. My password was fine earlier today and is my usual eBay one. I have tried multiple times just now and a bit yesterday, when after a long time it finally worked, but today the same problem.

Any ideas?

I responded to your email. I suspect that the problem is a consequence of you logging in from a mobile device. Please try to log in from a desktop browser first.

Thanks, I can log in on the desktop version but very infrequent on the mobile site. I will not use the mobile site in future as it has taken a lot of time and effort trying to log in there with varying results.

I think I may have found the issue, so I expect mobile site will work fine now as well. Sorry for the trouble.

I can't log in, from any of my browsers and I usually have no trouble. I have manually entered my password and I have used autofill.

As indicated above Mario tends to be able to deal with these sort of issues easier and more directly via email... He can be contacted that way via the support address given on the 'Contact' tab above... please include your Ebay id (but not your password) in any messages.
