|

I've changed my ebay password to something without special characters, cleared my cookies, history, cache and logins, and I've set my network settings to use the proxyconfig.txt as my auto proxy script, which is confirmed when I go to gixen.com/whatsmyip.php.
But now I can't log in to ebay.com.au. I get:
Quote: | Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at ebay.com.au.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. |
I can connect to ebay.com, but not ebay.co.uk.
I can't connect via gixen either. Removing the proxy config fixes the problem, but I still can't log in via gixen. |

Please email me - I may need your help to resolve this, specifically I need to know what IP(s) ebay.co.uk resolves to on your home computer. |

Weird, it's working now. Thanks anyway. |

Oh, just FYI if I ping ebay.co.uk it resolves to 66.135.211.132 (but interestingly the pings all fail).
That I.P. address is also what ebay.com.au resolves to. |
