Contingency bid failed

I've not done a contingency big before, so maybe I did something wrong?

I won the first auction but my second auction bid was cancelled (i.e. behaviour as per a normal grouped bid). Second auction was about 5 minutes after the first (definitely more than 2 minutes)

I think these are the steps I did:

Set up earliest auction in Gixen (I think I did this before changing the settings)

Went into Settings to investigate how to do Contingency bid. Set the appropriate option to ENABLED.

Created the second auction.

Can't remember if I had set up a Group when I added the first auction, if not I would have re-edited it at this point to group both auctions together.

Once you enable Contingency Group bidding, these Groups (5 available) appear as separate options on the drop down menu for each snipe.

So, are you sure you placed them both in a Contingency Group, and not in a Regular/Normal Group?

It would certainly be necessary to edit any snipes that were set up before Contingency Group bidding was enabled because the Contingency Groups are only available for setting up snipes when the option is already enabled on the Settings page.

Thanks. I've just tried a Group on another auction and there are indeed obviously-named items in the Groups drop down. Definitely didn't see those before ... at the time I thought it odd that Contingency appeared (to me) to be a Toggle between Normal Groups and Contingency Groups, so the only conclusion I can draw is that I set up both auctions before re-selecting the Group, or something was cached here and showed me the old group list (bit hard to believe if I added a brand new auction) thus looks like Pilot Error.
