Auction snipe problem

I placed a snipe on an auction 171694806052 earlier today. The auction ended a little while ago and I did not win. I don't understand this because everything looked fine after I placed my snipe. I have been using Gixen for several years and have never had this happen before. I can send you a screenshot so that you can see. After the auction ended on my Gixen page it says "Sign in information is not valid", which makes no sense because if that were the case I wouldn't have been allowed to login and place the snipe.
What happened?

It is still possible to log in to Gixen with old credentials after you have updated your Ebay password.

Gixen keeps a one way encoded hash of your password and compares against that, if it matches then it continues with the Gixen log in... so, it is only if you change the password that you present to Gixen, that it checks back with Ebay to determine if it is correct.

I am not saying that is what happened here, just pointing out that it is possible to do.

Is the same status displayed on both the Main and Mirror tabs?
