| I ordered 140 USD bid to Gixen. However Gixen placed 1403 USD bid. What's happened? Unbelievable! It seems to be a fatal bug. The item ID is 371258119897. |

It looks like a typical human bug! I just get 2000 $ out from the bank dispenser after i typed one zero too much.
Talk to the seller than bother others for your mistakes ! - btw. an article you guess its worth 140 USD seldom exceed the 1000 USD border.

I think it is unlikely that it would be possible for Gixen to get this wrong, as you believe.
As already suggested I would recommend that you contact the seller and ask them if they will consider cancelling the transaction.
It is your responsibility to enter the snipe amounts correctly, there is no mechanism that Gixen could use to warn you of such an error without annoying the majority of users who only ever submit the snipe values that they want.

I just did some intiial investigation, and it looks like, unlikely as it seems, that this was Gixen's fault in some way. Apparently user had a 1403 bid, but edited it (well before auction end, so on time), but during that edit there was some connectivity problem that resulted in bid being deleted from main, and not for mirror.
queen3568, please email me, I will do my best to help you resolve this. If possible, please ask the seller to cancel the bid, and let me know what he responds with. |

Thank you all for giving me comments.
Mario's investigation sounds correct.
That seems a connectivity problem between Main and Mirror.
First I typed in 1403 USD and entered.
A few seconds later, I changed (edited) it to 140 USD.
The record of Main sever shows 140 USD bid.
On the other hand Mirror sever shows record of 1403 USD bid.
Mirror sever looks no-good.
I have never received any merit of Mirror.
I would like ask GIXEN engineer to improve the problem.
BTW, the wining price is not so high, although the placed bid was high. So I bought the item.
