I read in the eBay user agreement the following :

Using eBay
In connection with using or accessing the Services you will not:
- use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access our Services for any purpose;


Is Gixen not very "legal" to use on eBay ?

It's obviously against the ebay terms and conditions to use any automated scraping tool or service, including sniping, but it's tolerated by eBay for many years already. If they really wanted to, they could block sniping services in no time.
