If you are using a non-ebay.com local service e.g. ebay.co.uk

to set up the proxy you have to log into ebay.com instead.

the proxy doesn't understand rover.ebay.co.uk

Some instruction about this could be added to your proxy setup page to help other peeps who don't get this stuff.... cheers.

Hi Adam,

To be fair I don't think it is intended to be used for any of the rover sites American, British or otherwise, they are used via the links in emails Ebay sends out, aren't they?

The proxy is there as a temporary measure to get over a specific issue, it isn't supposed to be used long term for all your Ebay needs.

When I found this rover issue myself I just disabled the proxy in order to get on with what I wanted to do.
