I placed two items to be sniped, one yesterday, one today. Yesterday the bid went above my limit. Today, as I watched, the auction ended - and no bid was placed by Gixen.

What was the status that Gixen gave the snipe, both on the Main and the Mirror server, after the auction had finished? _________________ Mark |

Reasons given some time after the auction failed is that I don't have a Paypal account - well I DO , and it is linked to my eBay account.
I have not had this problem with either the AuctionStealer, or AuctionSniper, websites. |

It is not unknown for Ebay to loose the link between your accounts... It is worth you checking again on Ebay that your Paypal account is still referenced in your Ebay account.
Gixen only comes up with that status if Ebay presents a page stating that your Ebay account is not linked to a Paypal account, it is not something Gixen checks on its own.
The imposition of a block for this reason is a choice that the seller makes, and very few do, so it is quite possible to use sniping software for quite some time before encountering this problem. _________________ Mark |
