My password is not longer working, my account is paid and I am not able to use Gixen at this time.

Are you able to log in to ebay.com? Also, where are you logging into - www.gixen.com, www.gixen.com/de or do you use Gixen Desktop Manager?

Yes, I can get into EBay, but when I log into the Gixen site, it says that my username/password are invalid

I received some directions regarding the fact that I changed my EBay password and that was causing the problem, but I am unable to resolve the issue my self

I deleted all of the cookies on my computer

I am will ing to just get another Gixen account, but sen to be locked into my current one

Hi,

As per this post, I have also recently been instructed to change my ebay password which I have done. I can log into Gixen using the new ebay password but it always defaults to the old one on next log in.... the last snipe I entered did not seem to work, so I suspect Gixen may be attempting to log into ebay with my bid, using the old password and failing??????

Perhaps you could confirm if this is the case or not and reset my gixen password memory to retain the new password and not the old one??

micman1000,

If you are logging in with your new password that is what Gixen will be using.

Please supply the auction number of the auction that failed so that it can be looked into.

If your password is being remembered from previous logins that is a browser function, it is not to do with the Gixen software, so to resolve that I suggest that you clear the saved passwords in your chosen browser.

Browser clean, and no pass in mémory...

Franch, a few questions:

1. What message exactly (please copy/paste, do not interpret) do you see?
2. Are you sure you are entering your ebay username & password correctly, the same way as on ebay.com?
3. When did you change your password?

Wrong password, or your password may not be strong enough, resulting in eBay requesting captcha verification code. Please change your password at eBay first if this is the case.


I changed the password on ebay and always says the same thing, will not let me enter.

The same issue as yesterday repeated itself today. I will be looking in the following days as to what caused it, and how to avoid it, but it's ultimately ebay that causes this.
