Import watch list is duplicating items

In the last few days, whenever I use the "Import Watch List" feature it adds duplicate entries to my Gixen list for those items which are already there. One entry shows my previously-entered snipe value, and the new entry shows zero. If I try to delete one of the duplicate entries, they are both deleted and so my snipe is lost.

If I import the watch list repeatedly, I never seem to get more than two entries for any individual item.

This has just started happening a few days ago, previously when I imported my watch list any items already on my Gixen list were ignored.

Any help please? The duplicate items are currently in my Gixen account if that helps the admin to investigate.

This doesn't seem to have happened again since I posted, and the items which were duplicated have now all ended. The problem initially occurred about four times in the space of a few days, but it has been OK for the last week so hopefully it is resolved.

It looks like this is still happening (today and yesterday) after being OK for a while. The duplicated items are all on my Gixen list if you are able to take a look?

Doug, what exactly did you do? Click on "Import Watch List" or "Import Gixen List" twice?

Hi, I only click the "Import watch list" button once at a time, but the next time I log on to Gixen and have added some new items to my eBay list I will click it again. That causes the new items to be added and sometimes causes existing items which are already on both my Gixen list and eBay watch list to be duplicated.

Doug, I could not reproduce this problem today - import watchlist or gixenlist never imports items already present for me. I will look into your account tomorrow and try to replicate your own settings.

Well, it's done it again after a long break. Here's exactly what I did today:

- log in to gixen
- click "purge completed" once, which removed one completed item (380614716337) leaving five remaining (the first five items on my current list)
- click "import watch list" once, which duplicated the five existing items and added two new ones which I have "watched" today (the last two on the list)

This is precisely what I did in this session, I didn't click anything else, edit any bids or anything. I've left my account in exactly this state, hopefully you can look into it? It's a pain because every time this happens I have to delete all my items and re-enter all my bids to get it back to normal...

I know this thread is old, but I just found it as Gixen is doing exactly the same for me. I also did the same sequence of events as Doug262's last post. Purge finished, then import watchlist. Each item already on the list was then duplicated.
