Gixen Desktop Manager NOT bidding on items

Hi there,

I recently tried to bid on a few items but the Desktop Manager did not work as expected. I logged in, input the item and my maximum bid, and waited for the auction to finish. However, when checking the auctions after they had ended, the winning bid was lower than my maximum bid and I did not win the auctions. For example, here is an item ID I used: 151255582994 - I input a maximum bid of GBP 19.56 for this item.

Did you submit your snipe at least 2 minutes before the auction ended?

The Desktop Manager does not perform the bidding, the Gixen servers do that so the bidding process is the same whether you enter your snipes through the web interface or via the Desktop Manager.

Once the auctions had completed, did you get an update for the status?... if so, what status did Gixen give this snipe?

Gixen won this item for you for GBP 13.00, not sure why you haven't realized it yet. Please log in to ebay and check your purchase history.

Wow, I just checked eBay - it seems I have won the item! I am almost certain neither Gixen or eBay said I won the item, I definitely double checked. Perhaps it was a small glitch on eBay's end, I can now verify the programme does work.
