Desktop manager quit working after upgrade to windows 8 8.

After upgrading to windows 8 then 8.1 the Gixen desktop manager stopped working.

I first get a message the ordinal 353 could not be located in the dynamic link library

Then cannot load ssl library

Then the desktop appears but says connectin to gixen but never completes the connection.

I would recommend using a compatibility mode to run it in... preferable Windows XP compatibility mode.

As for the first problem, you have to make sure included dll files are in the working directory of GixenDesktopManager.exe.
