Yes, same problem here - this has happened with about 20+ items I have tried to bid on today and, like you mentioned, it adds a (1) in brackets at the end of the item number.

Don't know if this is just co-incidence, but after paying the $6 for the mirror service I was able to add my items.

I am able to add 151144033225, I have my target ebay site set to be the United Kingdom, so you might wish to try that on this occasion.

The same for 400589132143 and 321229187368, so you may want to try that as a temporary work around, I have not tried to add them with a target as the US ebay site... so Mario may need to do further investigation into that.

I tried to edit a couple of items today to raise my bid, but got this error message:

Could not add this item (141097468591)(1)

Both items were already in my Gixen account, but now are deleted, and I can no longer add them. Also, I cannot seem to add any new bids for other items today. I keep getting the same error message.

One item, which is on auction now with eBay, and slated to end in over 7 hours from now, is displaying as ENDED, with a current bid of 704.00. The item # is 380751457022, and it's current bid price is 8.00.

What is going on???

Problem resolved now ... could not add any new items using Mozilla Firefox as a browser. Went back to using Internet Explorer, and everything working fine now. Either a temporary issue or a browser issue of some kind .....

It's not related to the browser, it seems that ebay had an intermittent problem.

Ebay is glitching like hell last 2 days which has nothing to do with gixen.
Auctions sometimes open in a weird layout and a refresh is needed to make it visible again.
Also I am unable to delete any items on my watchlist (which is now full).
I just hope ebay fixes it soon..

I am not having a problem randix, Sunday evening is the busiest time for Ebay though, so Ebay is sometimes slower to respond at this time.

The style of the web-page is often held separately from the html source and supplied separately to the browser that is to display it, for this reason it is not surprising that occasionally the page is displayed all wrong when the style sheet fails to get to the browser or it interprets it incorrectly for some reason.

I have also had this happen more often with Ebay recently... though, as you say, other sites or not immune from exhibiting the same symptoms.

It isn't something that I think would affect the operation of Gixen though, since I think that it works with the html code and not the style... which only really affects how things are laid out on the page, important though that is when a human is using a site.

my profile settings were USA when I am based in UK and it worked previously.

changed profile settings and logged out and back in. still a problem.

I added item to watch list and added that to gixen and it shows it as ended with a stupidly high final price.

I received the same error. Decided to try 'Import Watch List' instead. Entire watch list displayed as 'ENDED' with really high 'CURRENT BID' amounts. Very strange.

It seems that ebay is having issues at the moment. Gixen receives responses that look like: "The eBay function or feature you have requested is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

This is only when trying to display listings. Snipe submission seems to work fine.

I will be monitoring this in the following minutes and hours, but at this point it seems waiting is the only thing that can be done about it.

No, bids cannot be sent blindly without knowing important details such as auction end time. For snipes that were added before this problem that's possible, but you cannot add new snipes until this functionality is restored.

Unable to add item when pasting full link address to Gixen eBay Item Number input block.
Item number only pastes ok.
Appears eBay has made the link address longer [shorter links ok] than Gixen can handle for some items.

I added it with no issues. Have you changed any default settings on your settings page? (e.g. target setting, etc)

Also, try again after some time, sometimes there are temporary issues at ebay that may prevent fetching item info.

Because this support question happens so often, for this same reason, a suggestion for improvement could be for Gixen to detect that an Ebay auction id represents a Buy It Now only item and, when it does so, the error message could reflect the problem more precisely.
