Gixen Mirror stopped working

I've had Gixen Mirror active on my account for years, but today, when I logged in to schedule a snipe, I suddenly found that it is no longer working. It seems as though for some reason my account has reverted to the basic status. I've been getting Gixen Mirror by hosting a backlink on my web page, tentokai.com (current PageRank 3). The backlink to Gixen still appears on the aforementioned page, as always.

I can not see any Gixen link on the default page of the website that you specified.

Has something changed at your ISP that has caused the link to be removed or hidden from general sight?

The removal of Mirror would have been automatic when the Gixen software could no longer detect the link... the check is made periodically for all Mirror accounts that use the back-link method.

Once you have the Gixen link live again you should be able to re-submit your page to restore your Mirror subscription.

Hello, thanks for replying so quickly. Yes, actually it turned out that my website was down for some unexplained reason. I just moved it over to another hosting provider, and it is online again at tentokai.org (with the backlink showing). What do I do now to reactivate the Mirror service?

Have you only just registered that domain?

My Internet Service Provider is not recognising it as valid, yet.

So you may need to wait a while before you can activate your Mirror account using that domain... at least until Google gives it a page rank.

Once it is up and stable and recognised globally then you can resubmit the link via the option given occasionally when you log in... just log out and in a few times until it is presented to you again... but, as I say, you probably need to wait at least a week before all relevant systems are able to pick up your new site.

The domain is the same as it's always been: tentokai.com. The page was simply down for some time because of some screw-up with the hosting provider. As soon as I found out about this last night (precisely because I tried to use Gixen and the Mirror service wasn't working), I simply uploaded my website to a different host and pointed the domain there (I've always had the domain and the website hosted by different companies). So, the website has been back up for several hours now. Please check it again, I am sure you'll be able to see it. The page still has the same rank as before: 3 (you can verify it on prchecker.info). Thank you...

ogasdf, the link looks fine, as well as the page. Just re-submit it. Log in / log out several times until you get the appropriate submission screen.

By the way, I've logged into Gixen quite a number of times since last night, and I haven't seen the option to submit the link even once. The only options that appear are to purchase the Mirror service (which redirects to PayPal) or to do a review on a third-party site (which I have already done).

You must have been unlucky as the page to submit a link comes up quite regularly for me.

I was looking for tentokai.org not .com because that is where you reported the page was in your second post... as Mario says you should be OK with your .com domain once you are able to get the option to submit it.
