Because you made an edit only 15 seconds before auction end. When you do such a late edit Gixen errs on side of inaction:
1) It tries to cancel the existing snipe that's already in process of being executed.
2) It tries to execute the new snipe.
1) almost always succeds. 2) usually fails, as there is not enough time left.
There is a warning not to make edits in the last 2 minutes before auction end, and this is exactly why. |
