Unknown Error 3 - Inconsistent. Get it even if I win as wel

Just lost a great deal. Didn't even lodge the bid when i checked the history of bids. Ive lost 3-4 now due to this. I also noticed other users getting same issue.

I'm running mirror as well. Could be because I had it at 3 seconds and because im in Australia was just too late? Should I be on 6 seconds?

Any ideas?

When you get that status is it the same on both the Main and Mirror tabs?

I think it is unlikely that using a lower offset is going to increase the frequency of this particular type of error.

Also being in Australia is not an issue as such, both the Gixen and Ebay servers (all of them even those for the European and Australian Ebays) are in America.

eBay wants something from you - verification of account or similar. Can you please try to place a bid manually and then see if you get asked for any additional information? You will be prompted for another login by ebay.

I even changed my password as suggested by Gixen and it did not place the bid, lost the item as it watched it. set for 6 seconds and believed Gixen would place the bid. This blows....I wanted the item.

unless there is a fix and answer I sure won't be signing up for paid gixen and I will be changing my password too just in case and sharing this experience off this forum

Any response from Gixen or other users? A friend of mine uses auction stealer and never has a problem, live and learn ehhh

What was the item id in question? I would like to see if I can find out more about what caused it to fail.

I don't know what happened, but for some reason you guys couldn't submit a bid I tried to make on item no. 221330810163. I see that in a previous answer, you say that "ebay wants something else from you" but when I try to log onto ebay, all I use is my username and password. In fact, I manually bid on another item from the same seller.
And guys, take it easy on Gixen; it's free for Pete's sake.
