Hello,
Im new here. Im about to buy important thing on uk ebay. I would like to use free Gixen and bid say 100GBP. Im pretty sure the item will cost not more than 20 GBP but you never know... I read on forum that it may happen that Gixen will not work due to server problems, "extra log in screen" etc. My question is: what happens if I set Gixen to 100GBP (6sec default) and I bid manualy 90GBP from my ebay 15 sec before the end just to be sure I would not loose the auction? Does it mean that, if the second highest bidder was say 20GBP, I pay 21GBP or, because I bid 90GBP before Gixen set to 100, the final bid would be 91GBP?
I obviously use the same username for Gixen and ebay.
I would be extremely grateful for fast reply.

| You can never bid against yourself. As long as you use the same username, you can combine manual bidding with Gixen. |

Yes, the default is 6 seconds.
It can only be altered, to different offsets, if you have a Mirror subscription.
