Hello, I have a big doubt. Imagine, I want to buy something for example with a price of 50 dollars. If I put in Gixen that my bid is 150 dollars, if nobody make another bid, how much I will pay 50 or 150 dollars?

50 dollars, because that is the way that Ebay works, you only ever pay at most one bid increment more than anyone else is prepared to bid.

This makes no difference whether you bid on Ebay manually or using Gixen.. the difference with using Gixen is that there is no time for other buyers to see you have bid and then react to that bid and decide to bid more than they otherwise would have done.

Then, the more inteligent is to make a high bild because normally gixen make the automatic bild few seconds before end not? If somebody make a bild of 95 for example, I will pay a maximum of 95, correct? Thanks for everything!

The most sensible thing to do is have a bid that is the maximum amount that you are willing to pay.

If you win you will pay more than others have bid, but only up to a maximum of one bid increment more.

Experience shows that for any bid you decide, you are more likely to win with that bid if it is made near the end of the auction... this is why Gixen (and all other sniping software and services) exist.

It does not make sense to have a bid that is greater than you are willing to pay though... because others might value the item more highly than you do (or use the same logic that higher bids are the best way to win auctions) and then occasionally you would win at an amount higher than you would like to pay.
