Captcha images are ILLEGIBLE

I just spent about 45 minutes to get a msg. posted here because the Captcha images are simply illegible.

They appear on my screen as patchy blue letters on a white background. I have reasonable eyesight, but the characters are so patchy I can not tell 3's from 8's; can't tell D's from B's, can't tell 0's from D's (or B's.), can't tell 5's from S's.

The one on this msg (same as the prior one just sent) appears to be:

3F5(five)ADF

I tried many, many combinations of 3's, 8's, D's, 0's, no luck.

Turns out it thinks it says

3FSADF

This is not the first time this has been a problem. It seriously discourages input to the forum.

Sorry about that trnbob, but while I am aware that you may occasionally see non-legible captchas, they keep my sanity as otherwise the inflow of spam is unbearable. Captchas do change every hour or so, so you can always wait a bit and re-post.
