I tried Gixen for the first time today. someone kept one-uping me and I had to leave. I set Gixen to send my max bid, then got an alert on my phone that I had been outbid by a bid that was lower than the one I placed on this site! When I got home and refreshed, it said it couldn't enter the bid because the auction was closed. Well duh. Now I don't get something I really wanted! item number:151051474827 |

How much was your snipe bid amount?
If your bid was not at least one bid increment above the current auction price then it would not have been accepted by ebay.
That is the most likely explanation for the behaviour you witnessed and is quite normal and to be expected.
If that is not the explanation please can you tell us what the status of the auction was on Gixen after the auction had completed? _________________ Mark |

It did work, and you won, only you made an edit (probably by refreshing page) after the auction end, deleting the status. |
