So this is the first time I have ever used a sniping program, and I'm wondering about two related things. First, I see in the FAQ talking about gorup bids. What is this? Secondly, let's say I have a seller that has 3 items that I want and each ends 1 minute after the other. I saw in the FAQ something that said something about bidding within 2 minutes of each other and I didn't know what that meant so I thought I'd ask it here. Thanks! |

Group snipes are snipes in which first won snipe in a group cancels the remaining snipes in the same group. 2 minutes between snipes is required for group bids, in order to have time for cancellation.
In your case, if you want all three items, this is irrelevant - you can schedule single (default, non-grouped) snipes for all three, and how far apart they end doesn't matter. |

So basically a group bid is for if you want, say, a game, and there are three of those games up for auction. You only want one copy of the game, so you set up a group bid, and if you win the auction it doesn't bid on the others, right? Thanks! |

That's right wmbound2003,
A regular Group is used for that purpose.
There are also some variants of Groups that are used for different purposes, those other types are not enabled by default, you have to go to your Settings page and enable them before they can be used. _________________ Mark |
