what are bid groups and how do they work

so yeah I don't know what these bid groups are. does it matter if I don't put it in a group as long I have the highest bid. it would be nice if somebody could explain

Regular Groups are used when you have many possible purchases, but only want to win one of them. Then you put them all in the same group and when you win one of them the rest of the snipes are cancelled.

So, if you want to win all the snipes that you schedule, you do not want to use groups.
