|
|
A thought crossed my mind....
I'm assuming a Seller can change terms on his/her listing as long as there are no bidders.
If that is true, then assume I book my Gixen snipe bid.. and, as usual, stop watching the auction.
Then also assume the Seller changes "free shipping" to "$XX shipping"
Conceivably, I could get caught, and my bid will be too high by the amount of the new shipping charge
So.. is this a risk to consider.. or are my assumptions above incorrect ? |

You are correct, we discussed this most recently here:

though it has been mentioned a few times over the years.
It is worth considering whether a low bid, to 'fix' the auction, is worthwhile to safeguard against this affecting you. _________________ Mark |
