What do you guys suggest for best results with mirror settings? I have both set to 6 seconds, and have had zero problems with it. Should I leave it alone, or do you think I should make one of them 3 seconds? |

This has been discussed many times here, you might like to search the forum and find many other opinions.
Personally I prefer a larger offset to gain the advantage of the bid increment rule over other later snipers.
Some prefer different offsets so that of there is a problem at eBay at one particular second, a few seconds later that might have cleared and the backup is successfully placed...
Some prefer their bids to target different eBay sites e.g. .com and .co.au, so that if ebay make changes to a site that affect sniping the snipes still get through from at least one of the Gixen servers.
All these things are options for you to choose and decide what is best for you and what you prefer.... there are no real 'right' or 'wrong' settings or even 'better' or 'worse' they all have advantages in certain circumstances and disadvantages in others.
It really depends what suits the type of auctions that you are most commonly interested in and you are the best person to decide that. _________________ Mark |

What is the point of sending them both at the same time? |

I send them at the same time because that is the time I feel, for me is the best time for my bid to be placed, no matter whether one of the servers may not be able to place the bid at that time for some reason (usually outside the control of Gixen).
If the bid were placed earlier, than I want, by either server I increase the chances of a retaliatory bid... and if it is placed later I increase the chances that the bid increment rule blocks my bid when otherwise it might have won.
If I had ever found a failure as a result of that strategy I might have revised my strategy... but I have never had a failure of Gixen due to this choice so I've stuck with it. _________________ Mark |
