Hi
There's no point asking how Gixen works, because I've read forum posts etc and none of sinks into my poor little brain
I just want to know the best way to use my settings please? Tonight (and although I am glad I won the auction) I noted that Gixen had placed two bids for me, and I'm sure this isn't the norm. I must have tweaked something, though I have no idea what I'm doing as it all goes over my head!
Can folks just please post on the best settings to use please? (in simple to understand speak!)
Thanks in advance

Hi Tara,
The settings are there for you to choose precisely because there is no universal answer to your question, different people have different opinions, so it is best to allow people to choose the options they want... this can be discussed endlessly here but we are never going to reach a consensus as to what is 'best'... if we could do that then we could remove the options completely and everyone could just be given the 'best' ones.
The reason that you will be getting two bids is because you have both servers set to the same offset, in these circumstances eBay often accepts both bids since it can not discern a time difference between them being placed. This is quite normal, to be expected and does no harm (in my opinion), it is the case for my own snipes and has never caused any issue for me. _________________ Mark |
