For example, if I enter $100 as my bid in gixen and the item is at $50 just before the auction ends, will gixen bid $100, or will it bid at the next increment over $50 to win the auction at the lowest cost? |

Gixen will submit the bid that you specify... however that does not mean that you will necessarily have to pay that much if you win... the way that eBay works you only pay at most one bid increment more than the next highest bidder.
So, effectively, Gixen does still submit the bid to win at the lowest cost taking into account that you do not know until after the auction has finished what other people are prepared to bid. _________________ Mark |

Gixen will place a maximum bid of $100 with eBay's automatic bidding system. You will win paying the minimum bid increment over the first losers bid, up to that maximum.
see: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/automatic-bidding.html
What you do is bit the maximum amount you are willing to pay, one time. The first loser will determine the amount that you have to pay to beat them. |
