Email Alert feature

Here's a wishful thinking idea:

An "Email Reminder of Upcoming Auction End"

Every so often, an auction is a day or two or three away.
For whatever reason, you don't want to log a bid but you are interested.
Then you get busy, forget the auction.. and miss something that you were really keen on.

Would be neat if Gixen had an "alert" feature that would send a "reminder email" when the auction end-time was near.

You would have to register your interest in the item with Gixen first... you might as well just set up a snipe with the maximum that you are willing to spend at that time.

Gixen already has a feature to email you when the bid you have registered with Gixen is not going to be enough to win the auction.

I guess that partially fits the idea

The whole idea is to set up a snipe as soon as you realize what you will pay. Then you do not have to remember when the auction is. Mirror will send you an email if you are outbid, but that does not matter either if you placed your maximum bid already.
