Looks like Gixen thought Item had a bid of 285, but Item sold for 222.50. My bid was 265.
What happened? |

If you check the bid history you will see that this auction had a max bid of 9,999 (resulting in current price of 285) that was cancelled an hour before auction end. Gixen did not update the price in that time period, and thought that your bid was too low and thus did not submit your bid. Sorry about that, retracted bids unfortunately can mess up snipes. |

Maybe Gixen should obtain the price as the first action in scheduling a snipe, within the last few minutes of the auction... that way bid retractions/cancellations would only affect things if they occurred in the last couple of minutes of an auction.
Would that increase the workload considerably on the sniping servers? _________________ Mark |
