Different offset on mirror cf main site?

Quick question.

Is there any advantage, or disadvantage to setting the mirror offset to 15 seconds and the main offset to 6 seconds?

If you do that most often your bid will be placed 15 seconds before the auction ends.

Only if the Mirror fails will you get a bid at 6 seconds.

The advantage that some perceive from different offsets on the different servers is that you never get two bids placed at the same time which allows others, that are interested, to tell that you are using automated sniping software.

Personally I don't think that matters, no one has ever mentioned it to me, and I'm not concerned if they did know, so I have both servers set at 8 seconds by default.
