Item added did not show up on my list

First let me state, I am in the 2nd year of using Gixen and this is the first issue I have had. Win XP SP2, not 3 bacuse I have legacy software that will not work in SP3. IE 8.8.0.6

Put in an auction snipe for Item 220989337934; current price 5.50 with a bid price ($xx.xx - redacted so fellow snipers don't know the bid). I put in price well above the next minimum bid price that would be needed

Screen flashed as usual but the item did not show up in my list. I copied/pasted the item number again and got a red colored warning that it already has been added (or something to that effect) Still did not show up in my list. Closed browser, re-opened, logged back in and still not on my list. Entered item again with a higher bid and Viola! it was there. No refresh needed.

Any ideas why?

No - I just logged in to your account, and I can see all your snipes, including that one just fine. What browser are you using?
