Gixen can bid on it so long as you get the seller to allow you to bid.
The fact that it is not available on .com is not an issue, Gixen can and will (by default) bid on satellite eBay sites when the item is not available to bid on by users of the American site. This is how European residents are able to use Gixen.
The issue however is that the seller may well have excluded the auction from worldwide shipping and if they have eBay will refuse your bid no matter where the bid is attempted to be placed because your account is registered as being outside Germany. It does not matter whether you set up a shipping address in Germany, eBay do not use shipping addresses when deciding whether or not to accept bids (though there is a good argument that they should use a preferred shipping address that you specify, they don't).
So if you want this to work I would suggest that you contact the seller, explain that you will only want the item shipped within their country but you actually live elsewhere and ask them to allow you to bid on the item... If they agree, I would then check that you can bid by logging into one of the European sites (you can use the same credentials as you do on the .com site) and placing a low opening bid.
Once you have confirmed that you can bid that way, then there should be no issue with setting a snipe using Gixen. _________________ Mark
