Didn't work this time...not Gixen's fault!

Hi there,

I just lost an auction, and I assume it wasn't Gixen's fault, but just for curiosity, could someone explain to me what happened?
There were 9 bids for the items, ending at $51 and my own snipe was at $50!
But the winner made a bid long time BEFORE the end : to be clear, here is the history of the auction (the names have been changed, to protect the innocents!) :

As you may see, the winner had never put a bid before, but he happened to win anyway, with a date before mine!
How comes???

He had to place a bid previously - can you post the item id #?

OK, I checked and found the source of the confusion. The winning bidder was already there, but after your bid was placed he/she was moved higher on the list. His/hers previous highest bid is no longer shown.
