I had a mirrored snipe up for item 170683962710. I returned to my browser some time after the auction ended, and saw the auction entry (as left on the page from before the auction) saying 34 secs were left in the auction.
When I refreshed the page with F5, there was no entry for the auction. I did get a Gixen auction-end email saying I won, which eBay of course confirms.
I did not press Purge Completed. GDM was not running. I thought I had seen this behavior before but this time it was rather more evident.
This is not a problem for me. I just wanted to mention it in case it brings something to light. Could the Gixen email purge the entry? |

You probably previously edited your bid, so when you pressed F5, that edit was repeated, and the snipe entry that won was deleted, and a new one created.
There is a code in place to prevent refresh from causing this, but for some reason it doesn't always work. In the future just click on "Add Item" with empty fields to refresh status instead of refreshing your browser with F5. |

I did not edit the item.
Use "Add Item" ... got it. Thanks! |

Hmmm. I did edit the item yesterday but I've refreshed the page several times since then, with the editing fields being blank. |

End refreshing it probably did delete + add each time, only you couldn't notice this as there was no difference in status, it was still "scheduled". |
