my winning and not winning entries are deleted from the main gixen window. it is as if someone pushed the "purge comleted" button without me knowing.
is there a new time limit if i dont look at them in time , my entries are deleted.
is this because of a saving plan to reduce the storage some 1-2 kb lower?
i am confused, today i realised i was about to be labeled nonpaying user.
280713216297 id is only one of many entries deleted |

Gixen deletes all completed items 48 hours after auction end. This has been so since the service started many years ago, so it's not new.
280713216297 ended on July 28th, so I assume it had to be deleted around two weeks ago.
You should not rely on Gixen interface as a reminder. Gixen is not an auction management tool, it's a sniper. |

Yes, Gixen is not a management tool. Also, you can make eBay doing all this NPB suff for you automatically. |

Ah yes, that is what I thought it stood for... but could not immediately see the relevance to this thread... Reading back through the thread I imagine that what is being recommended is that buyers monitor eBay for items that have been won and need paying for... yes, fair point.
I would also suggest monitoring the email account associated with the eBay id, eBay is generally good at keeping buyers informed about their purchases via email... and can be configured to send less of the unhelpful email messages.
eBay itself is not a bad auction monitoring tool, I don't find the need for any other help with my account. _________________ Mark |
