|
|
Hi, I'm new to sniping and have a few questions. First, is there an account history that I can access? I'm wondering if I can find the time and date that a snipe was set up. There is a problem with an item I won and I think this info my help me out. Second, looking at the bid history of the item that I won there was a large gap in the bidding price between the next lowest bidder and myself. Why is that? Were there other snipes that drove up the price but were not listed?
Thanks. |

There is no history you can see, however I can access 30 days of history for debugging purposes. After that it's permanently deleted. If important and you don't need this often, email me and I'll help.
As for the other question, is the difference within bid increment? What is the item id? |

Re item #160630119638
I'm trying to get a refund for an item I won, if I can't resolve it with the seller or Ebay I might ask you for more info about the account history.
I think I figured the second question out. It must have been because the other bidder's max was around $243, right? Sorry if this is a pretty obvious answer! I haven't bought that much from Ebay or ever sniped before this. |

The other bidders maximum bid was $200.00.
If you look on the bids page you can see this... on that same page near the top you can also see 'Reserve met'... so the reason there is a gap is that the seller set a reserve of $245 which your bid met. eBay immediately raise the price to the reserve price when this happens. _________________ Mark |
