No bids currently but red cross in Gixen box is stuck on

First I deleted an old bid on which I was outbid. At that point I had no bids. I noticed that the red cross was in the box all the way to the left on the Gixen headline bar. I could not turn the red cross off by clicking on it. I tried to enter a new bid 150626322635 and got the following message: "Could not add this item - auction number or money format not valid. This snipe may have been entered too late into Gixen and may not be executed." However the item still has more than 2 hours to go on ebay. I tried again to enter the bid - same result. So I logged out of Gixen and logged back in, still had red cross which I could not get rid of and got the same result when attempting to bid. Next logged out, shut down computer. Restart, log in to Gixen, same problem. How do I get rid of the G-- D--- red cross and enter the bid?

The Red Cross is a new feature that allows you to delete many items all at once after you select the item toggle buttons to the left of the snipes, it is a button that you press not an indication of anything wrong with your account.

I tried entering a snipe for the item that you mention and had no problems.

Usually the message you are getting comes up if you try to put things like currency symbols ($,GBP etc) in the bid amount box... the amount should not have these, it should be in the format 100.01.

Another possibility thst very occasionally occurs to get this message is that the tarfet eBay server that you have chosen is causubf an issue, mine is set to be the United Kingdom?... If the above does mot sort your problem, the setting for your tartget server ison tour Settings page accessed by pushing the button near the top.
