EBAY ERROR: LOGIN TIMEOUT (2)

I've read some other posts describing this issue. A recurring recommendation is to use the mirror service. I use the mirror service. Is there anything else I can do to mitigate the possibility of having this occur again?

The login indeed timed out from both main and mirror servers. This likely means that ebay had an issue at the time, as all the Gixen servers were quite idle and trouble-free at the time. I am sorry about that, I hope you can find a similar item again.

gfm4765, the main server facility was having connectivity problems since around 3 hours ago to about hour ago. The mirror server was also late for this item by pure co-incidence, so Gixen really failed this time for you.

Please email me, I would like to help in any way possible if you can find a similar item again.

Still a problem. I got the same result last night on item 300556371900.

I made the initial bid at $9.00 then set up a snipe for $13.55 but my bid was never placed and item sold for $9.50. First time its happened but frustrating none the same. Crying or Very sad

No. Here's what I got from Gixen:

There was an issue in the main server facility that caused network problems. I am sorry, this was beyond my control.

If you used mirror server, mirror should have placed a bid for you.

I to just had one of these same things happen to me. "EBAY ERROR: LOGIN TIMEOUT (2)"

I asked the seller to add it to my invoice like just tack it on the shipping part. We will see what happens. I have ordered many times with this seller so they might do it for me. (fingers crossed) lol.

If you know what happened here it would be helpful. This is the first problem I have ever had so im pretty happy. But im still a little bummed that I didn't win it, but I didn't lose it ether so thats good!

Jason, you just saw that happened for your auction, but it happened last night when there were connectivity issues in the main facility. It's the same cause.

This is the kind of issue that the Mirror was designed to address.

With only a single server working for you this type of thing is bound to happen occasionally.

28modelar-rpu, I just checked, and everyone was getting a timeout in those few minutes. And this is from three different servers in the main facility, and the mirror server that's in Florida. So it looks like ebay was having an issue of some kind in those few minutes. I am quite sorry about that one, I hope you can find a similar item again.

We one good bit of news on this, I contacted the seller and they tacked on the item to my shipping total and I am still getting the item!! YEA for me lol. Very Happy
