Other Advantages

When I first starting using Gixen, it was with the intent of winning more auctions for less money. But as I become a more seasoned user (two weeks?) I am noticing other advantages.

I tend to get caught up in the auctions emotionally, and used to bid too high at the last minute because I didn't want to lose the auction. The "it's only another dollar" way of thinking can get you in trouble when those dollars add up. With Gixen, I can place my bids without emotion and not get caught up with having to have any certain item. It saves me a lot!

Another advantage is that you can change your mind about bidding on something and delete it without any problem. I have purchased far too many things that I bid on impulsively. I'd never cancel a bid, so I always justified this problem by telling myself I was still getting great deals, overall. Now, I simply delete an item and there is no penalty or problem.

Those two areas are wonderful advantages to me. Other than the ease of sniping, are there other advantages you see to using Gixen?

You don't need to be tied to your computer for the end of auctions and you can sleep at nights.

Oh yes, the sleeping part is great!

I'm also really enjoying the option of changing my mind (typical woman, I know) if I see something I like more.

Gixen is a lot more than just a sniping service. Well, for me it is!
