Probably because eBay refused the bid, because there was a BIN price of 200.
eBay does not allow bids of at or above the BIN price.

Yes, I just checked, and this is exactly what happened. Here is the text from the logged page:
Your bid price may not meet or exceed the Buy It Now price. If you wish to bid, you may do so by entering a maximum bid less than the Buy It Now price of US $200.00
Sorry about that, I hope you can find a similar item again. |

Ouch... I see. Thanks for the quick reply.
I may make a suggestion, it's a great site and usually worked fine for me, but maybe have a check for that? If the BIN price is = or < the bid offer, give a warning when entered?
