Given that we all will throw in some low ball bids on that off chance, but should view those realistically for what they are, I had been losing a large percentage of my bids at the last minute by one bid increment, which means in those cases that my bid was competitive and was not out of line with the bid value of the item. That motivated me to try Gixen to see if I could improve my results. I won 4 of my first 6 competitive bids, which to me is an excellent result, and probably represents a doubling of my bid success rate.
