Does Gixen recognize my name and not bid against me? Or have I added one increment bid to the initial bid I placed? javascript:emoticon('') (Worth it anyway!) I feel smug being the sniper instead of the pained snipee. Thanks Gixen! |

You will not pay more on eBay if you outbid yourself and no-one else places a bid that is higher than your initial bid, that is how eBay operates.
So, even though Gixen will attempt to place your snipe in the last few seconds, if no-one else places a bid above your initial bid it makes no difference to the price on eBay once the Gixen bid has been placed.
Not that I advise placing bids early as the best course of action, but that is only because it is more likely to atract other bidders to place bids early that raise the price of the auction. _________________ Mark |

One reason to place a small early bid is to kill the BIN option. |
