I am considering using Gixen.
I have a security-related question: are the ebay passwords stored in plain text anywhere? Basically I am concerned that if your site is hacked, all ebay passwords will be available to the hacker. |

If the site itself is hacked, 90% of work is already done. This never happened in 4 years already, as the site is well secured, and if it were to happen I would immediately know about it.
I don't want to discuss details here, but passwords are not stored as plain text, though reversible encryption that is needed inevitably means they can be restored if intruder obtained full access to servers and had expertise to do it. It wouldn't be too easy though. |
