|
|
Instead of forcing us to enter the ebay item number, why not also support automatically parsing it out of [U]RLs we paste in to the field?
For example, it would be trivial to determine the item id from [U]RLssuch as:
ht tp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320518318765&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
This would make it much easier to enter items, as we could just copy the link from our browser , enter a price and be done. |

It does not work anymore
The method of copy pasting the website address or link was working about 2 weeks ago but not now. |

let me edit that. I cannot copy paste the link directly from the ebay search results page into Gixen, but I have to go the roundabout manner & add it to my watch list first, then copy paste the link in to here.
A bit annoying really. |
