hi mario,
thankyou for this amazing service. could you advise me on what the above error means? i think it might refer to my paypal account not being verified - but the item was well below their usual unverified limits. i had a pending dispute with a seller at the same time over likely shilling activity on another bid - and there was an alert on the dispute being resolved - could this have contributed? anyway, thanks again for being such a star.

| No, this has nothing to do with paypal. Ebay wants you to provide them with the credit card number before you are able to bid. This is what they call "verification", as it prevents (or limits) creation of bogus accounts used for shill bidding etc... |
