didn't bid for me

Hi - this is the second time Gixen didn't bid for me. the first time, I changed my bid with less than a minute left. this one, I entered the bid with more than 10 minutes left. the item was 180468914885. What happened? thanks.

The reason is "AUCTION RESTRICTED: NO PAYPAL ACCOUNT".

This means that the seller restricted auction only to those bidders that have a paypal account, and that you either don't have a paypal account, or it isn't linked with your ebay account.

As for the first auction, let me know what the item id is, and I will take a look... Most of the time, one minute works (though I recommend two minutes), it must have been less than that.

260553019010 was the other one. I'm sure it was considerably less than a minute. I wish I had known. I could have just placed a bid.

I do have a Paypal account, but not connected to this Ebay account. I didn't know a seller could screen by that. Good to know.

As for 260553019010, the timing was not a problem - your maximum bid was 73, and the item sold for 76. Your bid just wasn't high enough.

the change I made in the final minute was to $83. you don't have a record of that? maybe if it was too late, it didn't register.

It did, sorry, I didn't look careful enough.

Only this final change was made at Sun Feb 21 18:00:37 2010, or only 36 seconds before auction end. This was not soon enough.
