outbid by an earlier date

I bid 41.05 for this auction and was outbid by a bidder who's bid came in at the last minute but was dated many days earlier. See the auction timing below. How does two bids on March 22 and 25th get into auction at the last second of the auction? When I submitted my bid into Gixen, the current price was $23.50
