UNKNOW ERROR (6) random account verification

I always had much success with Gixen. But now I will be a little anxious. My last snipes failed on important auctions and there was the message UNKNOW ERROR (6). Mario answered me that it was a problem with my account. I contacted eBay and they told me that it was account verification when one buys a lot! It is random and can happen again any time!

When they told you 'a lot' did they specify that this was a change from your usual activity?

It is fairly normal for websites to perform more checks and impose more restrictions when they detect a change in your buying and/or selling habits. If you are consistent and/or change those habits slowly, in my experience, you are less likely to experience this type of issue.

They are not very clear on the subject. It is a limitation of purchase. It is true that I bought a lot these last weeks but the total amount was not high. In the past I already reached great amount on few objects without problem.
